Mission kenya
This year, we visited the Grace Guardian Foundation in Kenya, a partnership that has profoundly impacted our perspective and commitment to global change.
At the foundation’s supported school, we encountered children who, despite receiving only one meal a day—a simple bowl of porridge—they attended school with unwavering enthusiasm. Their resilience and eagerness to learn, even in the face of such adversity, were deeply moving.
Mission India
Mission Green volunteers cleaning up slum areas in Visakhapatnam, India. We aim to not only to provide a service to the local community by cleaning up the streets but also to create a platform for educating people who live there. We have a partnership with local churches and managed to gather many volunteers from the area to help us clean. The interest from bystanders was great and we were able to educate many on how to separate and recycle their waste, as well as dispose of items that cannot be recycled. Although this might seem like a drop in the ocean, we know that the buzz we create will spread throughout the area and have a greater effect. We keep in contact with our volunteers and keep tabs on the progress.
